The beginning hole of Twin Lakes is a straight away Par 4. A player’s tee shot needs to be down the middle, as there are trees lining both sides of the fairway, and the green is hidden from the tee box by a hill that splits the length of the hole.

The approach shot is a challenge because the green is protected by trees and bunkers on either side of the front. The back side of the green falls off sharply, which will punish a player who hits their approach too long.

Once on this large green, a par can still be tough due to several contours of the putting surface.

This uphill Par-3 is straight-away, but the player must hit their tee shot through a fairly narrow gap between trees that protect this green.

The green is elevated in the front and puts the player in a tougher position if they leave their tee shot short. A bunker protects the left side as well, which leaves the best place for a miss to be a little long and/or right of the putting surface.

A true risk-reward hole. Drivable for long hitters, but playing to the 150 stake just short of the creek is the safe play.

A severely sloped green from back to front is receptive to approach shots. Stay just below the hole on your approach due to the slope of the putting surface, or face a challenging putt.

A dogleg right with out of bounds left, right and through the fairway. Use the 150 post as your target from the tee in order to leave yourself an approach shot you can be aggressive with into the green.

It is best to miss this green short or right if you are going to miss…or face a challenging up-and-down from behind or left of the green.

twin lakes number 5 tee Distance control is important for the tee shot and approach shot on the fifth hole. The 150 post is an excellent target from the tee.

twin lakes number 5 approach Out-of-bounds protects this hole all the way down the left side as well as through the fairway.

twin lakes number 5 green the 27-yard deep green slopes severely from the back to front with a ridge in the middle. It’s also protected by bunkers on both sides. Par is always a good score here.

A great birdie opportunity with a great tee shot. Pay attention to the tree tops for wind direction, due to the tee box and green being protected by trees.

A 27-yard green is protected by a bunker short and right.

A drivable par 4 for long hitters – as long as you can carry the trees.

A large tree protects the front of the green, even if you don’t try to cut the corner.

Stay short of this green or face a challenging up-and-down if you go long.

An uphill tee shot makes this hole play longer that the stated yardage. A powerful drive can reach the green, presenting an excellent scoring opportunity.

Avoid the bunkers right and short of the green or face a very challenging up-and-down. This green is very deep and holds on to a good approach, This presents a birdie, even an eagle opportunity for the player that can keep the ball on a good line.

Laying back to around 140 yards is a popular play for those who have experience on this hole. The further down the fairway you hit it, the harder the approach shot becomes – making club choice on the tee shot key for a more comfortable approach.

An excellent birdie chance with two quality shots, however, bogeys lurk in the trees right and left of the fairway. The 150 post at the top of the hill is a good target from the tee.

A steep slope in the front, as well as two bunkers, protect this large and contoured putting surface.

Keep your tee shot down the right side of the fairway because everything runs left.

Long hitters may have a chance to reach in two shots, but this is a three-shot hole for most players. An excellent birdie opportunity to start the back nine.

Reading this tricky green and distance control on your approach shot are the keys to making it through this par 3. Play to the yardage in the center of the green and consider the wind when making your club selection on the tee box.

The green has a challenging optical illusion. It looks pretty flat, but everything breaks from the left side of the green to the right side as you approach from the front. Keep this in mind as you read your putt.

This short, straight-forward par 4 is another excellent birdie, or even eagle opportunity for the long hitter. Although it is protected by out of bounds on the left side.

This small green has some teeth, but this hole is one to take advantage of. Be aggressive and give yourself and chance to make a 3 here.

The toughest hole on the course, the 13th presents challenges from tee to green.

Stay behind the 150 post to give yourself options to the green. Get too close to the tree in the fairway, and you’ll have a very challenging approach shot.

Try to stay below the hole, as this green is very fast from back to front. Par is always a great score here.

Pay attention to the wind on your tee shot. Better short than long, even if you have a pin location on the back of the green.

A birdie opportunity awaits you on the 15th tee. Be smart with your approach or lay-up and play toward the right side.

Everything will run to the left when it hits the ground on this hole-on either side of the creek. All putts have a tendency to break toward the road; keep this in mind while reading your putt.

Another birdie opportunity awaits you on the 16th tee. Make your misses right off the tee to avoid O.B. down the left-hand side. This is a very good scoring opportunity.

A relatively flat green gives you a chance to be aggressive with your approach shot.

Par is always a good score on the 17th hole. A smart shot in the middle of the green will give you the best opportunity to get away bogey-free.

While reading your putt, everything has a tendency to break toward the road on this hole.

Number 18 allows for a great chance to finish on a good note. Placing a drive down the right side of the fairway will give long hitters the option of going for the green in two.

Pay attention to the hole location, as a large ridge divides the front and back of the green. A good aggressive shot will be rewarded, if executed, on this finishing hole.
